David Schwimmer has said that he is enthusiastic to get back in the director's chair for more episodes of Little Britain USA.

The sketch show was given a mixed receptionfrom American critics when it debuted on HBO in September.

However, Schwimmer described stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams as "the best" and "geniuses at what they do".

The Friends actor was enlistedearlier this year to direct sections of the TV comedy filmed in-studio.

Speaking at the Hollywood premiere of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, in which he voices Melman the giraffe, Schwimmer said: "David and Matt are so talented and I had a blast doing it. Hopefully we'll be back with more."
